At Awards4U, we believe in recognizing and celebrating those around us. That is why we are excited to present the May Recognition Challenge. This month we challenge you focus on recognizing your employees. Below are some ways you can participate in the May Recognition Challenge.

  1. Shout out on social media. Recognize hard working employees by sharing their successes with all your followers. You can highlight an employee’s work on Facebook for all to see, making them feel special and encouraging other employees to strive for that same recognition.
  2. Recognize your team by recognizing their passions. Whether it’s a team volunteer day, an hour a week for a mentorship program, or time off to go see a guest speaker, employees will appreciate the opportunity to engage in something they’re passionate about. When you value an employee’s passions outside of work, they know you value them as a unique individual.
  3. Treat the whole team. You can improve your workplace culture by having fun events for all staff members. Doing this allows you to give a thank you to the entire office, rather than just one individual. As the weather gets warmer, our team at Awards4U enjoys Ice Cream Fridays! You could ease employees back into work by scheduling a Monday morning brunch with coffee, donuts and bagels for everyone to enjoy. You could also have a happy hour once a week, where everyone gets to take a break and enjoy a beer with their colleagues. This will encourage team bonding, create a more relaxed atmosphere and give employees something to look forward to.
