Thinking Back to Recognize 2016

As this year is coming to a close, take some time to think back to everything that happened in the past year. Regardless of what happened this year, self-reflection can be helpful for recognizing and celebrating big moments while learning from mistakes. This month, try to find some quiet time to yourself and look back at each month. What is one thing you can recognize about that month? You don’t have to write everything down, you can simply just let your mind wander. Did you get a great compliment at work? Did you have a great family outing? Did you try something new this year that you liked? Did any holidays stand out to you? In 2017, we challenge you to remember all of the moments you are most thankful for. You can do this by keeping a jar with handwritten notes about moments you want to remember. You might want to make it a daily or weekly practice and set a reminder on your calendar. Then, at the end of the year, you can look back through everything you wrote down and see how much you have to recognize. Check out the questions below to help you get started.
