Incorporating Halloween festivities in your office can help improve teamwork and spur creativity, without being expensive or time consuming.

Collaboration in the workplace

Great things happen when individuals come together with unique talents and work toward a goal. Collaboration can help your team increase creativity, engagement and innovation in the workplace.

  1. Communicate Expectations: In a collaborative environment, each team member is accountable for the project’s outcome. Team members need to know that they will be held accountable and should know their role within the team.

When was the last time you completed a random act of recognition? We think there’s no better time than the present. Are you up to this month’s challenge?

How many times have you said thank you today? Could you start saying thank you with more enthusiasm or passion? Is there someone you always mean to say thank you to but never do? Maybe the cashier at the grocery store, your child’s teacher or the person who answered the phone when you called a local business have earned your gratitude.

National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. Beginning in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week, it was later expanded in 1988 by President Reagan. These 30 days are dedicated to celebrating the history of Hispanics, the largest ethnic group in America. Everyone can recognize this important month in a variety of ways.
