When you've built a costuming organization dedicated to Star Wars and lightsaber performance, how do you honor a true legend? With a custom-made award, of course.
Last year, we had the privilege of creating a special award for a unique organization: Saber Guild, a Lucasfilm-affiliated costuming and lightsaber performance group. The award was commissioned for a very special purpose—to induct none other than legendary actor Danny Trejo as an honorary member.
And yes, we have the photos to prove it. Danny, holding our plaque with genuine joy, is now part of Saber Guild history.
Who is Saber Guild?
For those unfamiliar, Saber Guild is more than just a fan club. It's an organized, Lucasfilm-sanctioned costuming and performance group dedicated to bringing the Star Wars universe to life. Members train in choreographed lightsaber performances, create incredible costumes, and participate in events across the country—bringing joy and immersion to Star Wars fans of all ages.

Why Danny Trejo?

The Fast-Track Order
Here's where our story gets interesting. Saber Guild found out they had the incredible opportunity to have Danny Trejo appear at Spookala in Tampa. They wanted to make the moment official—to induct him as an honorary member of Saber Guild during the event.
There was just one problem: the deadline was tight. Really tight.
